Well, good Golly. Now Hamas has been elected to power in Palestine. I know some people who will be thrilled about that but I am devastated. [Nonetheless, is there anyone who thinks this is a good idea, and if so Why?]
I mean, not surprised because hey those Palestinians haven't been treated fairly and they are pissed off as fuck and rage breeds fundamentalists and elects them into government.
A government full of suicide bomber supporters! At last, someone whose politicals are more insane than the Serbs'!
I mourn the death of tolerance, moderation and reason like it was my own father dying again.
It sucks really that I don't rule the world and cannot do anything about this.
At times like this I veer between utter despair and conviction that we are on a steady path to Armageddon and optimism that perhaps it will all work out in the end somehow.
And yea, though I walk
Through the valley of the shadow of death
I fear no Evil *
*Although I still fear scary programs on television. ITV2's Supernatural is a good example of this
