Has the Maus of Hughan Road been apprehended yet?
I'd very much like to go to the NewhamHouse party on Saturday but the thought of it being infested with rodentia makes me too scared to attend [i have a phobia of mice and rats -their skinny tails are the clincher].

they fly!

but they make such a cute crunchy sound if you step on them!

quite probably yes.
although it probably won't scar me anymore than the hundred horrifying mouse stories I'd already been regaled with.

yeah that cat stuff is all false bravado really...

i've never seen one at NewhamHouse either but Just Knowing That It Exists and is in there somewhere and would probably be watching me is enough to make me quake like a leaf.

I don't really see why it would be watching you. I imagine it would be watching for crumbs of cheese or suchlike, if anything. You don't really look like food. I'd be scared of YOU, if I were a mouse.

although i don't like to dwell on human failings, but i can't help but notice that you are using logic and reason which is entirely the wrong approach in the face of irrational rainsingerish fears
