So, today was kind of crummy and full of people who were bitter because we had to go to school, but everything was utterly redeemed by playing in the snow with Morgan and Mirah. Mirah is a sneaky minx. I have an excellent feeling about this winter, with its constant flurries, as long as I completely ignore schoolwork until it is completely upon me.
Also, have I mentioned how happy I am about this cello? It's not perfect, but short of the ten thousand, twenty thousand cellos for the devoted and talented, it's pretty fine. I have to keep everything swarthed in a big plastic sheet until the deal is finalized. I felt like I was carrying an Egyptian artifact through the halls of the Howard County Arts Center.
