"We're gonna be wet for a while. Jesus stole the roof."

It's raining, of course, but it seems like its always been raining in an utterly unremarkable way that umbrellas don't keep out. Keeping going through that is somehow tiring, for all that I love the rain. It's been grey all day, so there's been no morning or evening or three o'clock. If we still used sundials, time wouldn't exist when weather was all the same.

I meandered in Towson for a bit (forgot to try and find Mirah and Morgan and Scott and Co., sorry!), surprisingly enough for a Friday. Today we had the added dilemna of whether it was colder wearing wet jackets or not wearing the jacket at all. When I got home, I put on a hat and a dry shirt and my super gortex rainjacket, and sprinted up to my godfamilies for my godmother's birthday. Kerry was visiting, all the way from UMBC. And so I just had to keep going, that much longer; I can't ever pass up one of those evenings that haven't changed much since I was five, except maybe for the fact that we needed more props then.

The only relevant part of this exhausted entry is how excellent it's going to feel to curl up in blankets tonight. It's one of those days where the climax is collapsing into bed; even if the day was like God lying on a silk sheets covered in whipped cream making eyes at you, it's ending the day that makes it fantastic.
