So, I returned last night from Grassroots, the four-day music marathon that was rather our last hurrah before Lilly (double "L" Lilly, not single "L" Lily) departs for New York and Unlimited Talent. Mirah, if you thought Portland was bad , Grassroots could have been renamed NeoHippieFest 2005. Apparently it's vogue this year for fashionable males ( Read more... )

Try the "GLO" jeans. That's the only thing that I can get to fit me. They are stretchy, yes, but there is Real Denim involved and I've got several pairs that I've had for three years that still haven't ripped. (And with all of the pony-things that I do, they get rather worn out in the seat.)

actually i didn't think the oregon country fair was bad. i thought it was great, just rather unusual. you should see the pictures i took of the women with painted-on tops. it was so cool, yet strangely unfeministic, although it seems they felt the opposite. it wasn't in portland though, it was in a small town called veneta. i was surprised at portland's, well...normalness, considering it is so close to eugene, hippie center of oregon.

and darcy, "kthnx?" i'm disappointed in you. :) but i still want to hang out with you sometime cause you're darcy!

p.s. i like levis, and i also have a pair of hurley jeans that i really like. they usually fit well and each was about twelve bucks or so. that is probably due to my insatiable need to discount shop, though.

Oh, I was raised on discount shopping like milk. I have a pair of Levi's, but they fit pretty much like that, too.

And obviously I used "kthnx" as a deep ironic meditation on the nature of modern pants.
