I actually finished something!
I have just finished process the first part of a three part donation from Alaska consisting of 2 tons of comics, or approximately 30,000 single issues.
I feel accomplished. I am seeing parts of my desk I haven't seen in well over a year. Too bad it won't stay that way. I'm trying to neaten up a bit before Christmas because I don't want to spend my break fretting about my messy office!
I totaled up all of the unprocessed comics (long story there) and ballpark it's 91,000+ that need to be sorted, added to the list, bagged and boarded, then interfiled in the greater collection. Talk about job security...
Book sale next October is going to be epic. Hardback graphic novels $2, paperbacks $1 and comics 10 for $1. We sold 8 first printing Batman: Killing Joke for $1 a piece back in October!
