Florida is a disappointing place. Too many cars. Driving on the wrong side of the road. Angry people on cellphones. Too much sun! Too much hustle and bustle! Not at all a sunny paradise! And foreigners and Amish tourists are given funny looks on the street when asking directions!
I deeply mis Japan and even my despairing classroom. The snow that is light and the quieter streets of a suburb. The case of being a 'natural born citizen'. Knowing the language well and feeling comfortable. The lack of constant culture shock.
ZETSUBOUSHITA! HOMESICKNESS HAS LEFT ME IN DESPAIR!
No buildings under 100 years old! And people in Japan don't carry dogs in purses! This is miserable, miserable! I should go and die now. There is no way to improve this!
