For the most part, I really like animals...
But these damn cats!!! ARGH! Three cats, all female, none fixed. (A calico, Tag, and two black and grey tabbies, Oreo and No Name) I like No Name ok, she's quiet, happy for affection when it's given, doesn't pitch a fit when it's not. Oreo, I'm starting to like better now that she's FINALLY realized that female baby human =/= male tomcat. Tag though... DAMN that kitty. DAMN HER TO A SPECIAL LITTLE KITTY HECK. Not only has she picked up Oreo's old habit of trying to rub her butt all over Ariana, but she meows (and meows, and meows, and MEOWS) almost constantly when either Ariana's just fallen asleep or when I am trying to sleep. And then goes and tries to claw up the couch right behind the part I'm laying on. *head desk* Anyone have anything on how to make her SHUT UP already?
On the bright side Lucas is in with a temp agency and should be getting work sometime soon from what they say. *crosses fingers* I'll probably see about getting on with them when we see what kind of hours he'll be getting so that way we can arrange for at least one of us to be free to stay with Ariana. (I know, we could always put her in daycare, but I'm just not completely comfortable with the idea, particularly since I'm so unfamiliar with the area and don't really know anyone in the area who'd be able to recommend one.)
And speaking of baby girl; She has been drooling like mad from teething, but has been sleeping better. I'll happily take that trade. Been trying to wean her off the binky, but that's not going quite so well. She keeps either finding old ones, or managing to sneak one of the ones we try to put up. Clever little darling, but it's getting a bit trying. Also, she has hidden all of her socks. Seriously, on the last pair, it's crazy. Where is she hiding them? Is she feeding them to Buddy, the wiener dog? Bartering them with the Dryer Sock Thief for crackers and powdered donuts? Where could they be???
