field trip blasts part 2!
so where was I?
oh yeah...well the cave exploration was really one heck of an adventure..A lot of people got their chucks broken. I only told them this, "A shoe in exchange for that kind of adventure? I'll take it anytime!"
This is one of the major reasons why I chose tourism as my first choice in college and not some other courses that Lorrainne would usually take like business courses or law. I love to travel and getting to know new places or just plain getting away from the comfort of my own home and showcasing the splendor of the place even if there isn't really anything fascinating about it.
On the way back to our buses, we had to stop and wait for everyone else. We waited in this field over the mountains. Let me tell you something about it, it was your usual plain, what made it special was the fact that we were surrounded by fresh mountain breeze and the fact that everyone was having so much fun just by listening to the 2 leaders of the class bicker at each others' group, namely the Trez Manyakis (I know!) and J4K (just 4 kikayz). when we were really, really close to the bus, we had to cross the river again, only this time, we were very thankful that it was there. We cleaned our shoes and took off the dirt that clung on our feet during the whole ordeal.
I'm not going to tell you how rude the other schools were to us because I know you wouldn't want to hear me rant my journal away.
As soon as we got in the bus, we started eating our lunch. since the roads were so bumpy, I had a hard time eating my lunch. So I started packing my food away, raised my hands up in the air and shouted, "I QUIT!" The next thing I did was listen to Big Bang hehehe..
After a few minutes, we arrived at the national park. After a good 20minutes for lunch, we headed to our next cave, the batcave. No, this is not batman's lair...xD The guide told us that we had to walk 2kilometers. I told myself, "2 kilometers? Oh well...hwaiting!"
After sometime, we started to grow weary and started slowing down, it was then when Janick started singing "glamorous" and then we started saying, "I'm still gorgeous." again.
In the previous caves, I was singing Christina Aguilera's song (i forgot the title) "Coz I am beautiful in every single way, and MUD can't bring me down oh~" Yeah..I changed the lyrics...xD
We saw the biggest tree in the Philippines, let me tell you this, because of it enormity, we all thought that the tree was a mountain cliff..its THAT big! There was also a time when we had to cross only with the use of a bamboo stick! It was really frightening along with the humungous centipedes there...eww much? yes.
Wheh we finally arrived at the batcave, me and Jasmine started camwhoring around the place...xD After a few minutes, began our trekk back to our beloved bus...yay...another 2 kilometer walk, which resulted in sore legs two days after.
When we got back to our bus, I started watching Attack on the Pin-Up Boys. Since the light from the outside was a real nuisance with my movie watching, I covered myself with my black jacket. When my eyes got tired, I took the jacket off me and asked Janick where Jasmine is sitting again. She pointed to her side and Jasmine was asleep...then Janick popped this question, "Lorrainne what are you watching? Porn?" I replied her with, "This is not porn. This is merely a film where people fling sh*t at each other...see? *points to psp* He just got hit by sh*t!" She then said, "Whatever, you're watching porno!!" I merely laughed at her and resumed to watching the film.
When the film ended, I decided to get some shut eye, but miserably failed. So I just munched on my chips...xD The whole bus was sleeping peacefully until someone shouted, "WE'RE AT 8 WAVES!" That was when chaos broke loose in the bus as everyone was shouting and girls started preparing their clothes and fixing their hair, myself included.
The moment the lady handed me my ticket, me and Jasmine started running and squealing. Why? I don't usually join swimming trips in our class and that was the first time I went swimming with my friends. It was a blast. We were scurrying around the place, switching from one pool to another. It was like we owned the place...xD the great thing about this trip is, I overcame my fear of pool slides, I was traumatized when I was 5. I nearly drowned because of the slide...xD
Do I still need to tell you about the way home? When we watched wrong number? When we had our informal class picture? When we had dinner at mcdonald's and it was our vice principal's treat? I think not..
