Ako, si diego, si MiG, at ang NU rock awards
Dylan and I attended the NU Rock awards last night. hmm... I had more fun with last year's. Pero ganda ng stage nila ngayon. Malaki nga lang so hirap kumuha ng pictures. Plus it was soooo hot inside I felt it going to my head. It was hot, tapos dagdagan daw ba ng super tight-fitting jeans ni MiG Ayesa?! Futangina! Ganda ng katawan leche.
The day he arrived in the country, he was brought to our office to pacify our editor's tampo at his PR person. So there he was in the office, saying hi to the editors having their afternoon story conference in the middle of the room. Ewan ko ba kinain ako ng hiya hindi ako nagpa-fichur sakanya e lahat naman nung girls kilig na kilig na. Di ko naman kasi sinubaybayan ang Rockstar INXS e. Last night, Dylan wanted to have his photo taken with MiG, so after 2 hours of watching him watch the bands perform onstage, we finally summoned up the courage to tap him on his shoulder and ask for a photo op. He was so very friendly, I could've interviewed him on the spot and he wouldn't have minded! Too bad I wasn't covering anything.
Anyway, Junji was nice and accomodating as always. I even got a hug from Lourd (ex-groupie, don't kill me, nagulat rin ako. di bale wala namang beso e). I like Celine Lopez's hair, I'm actually thinking of cutting my hair that short. Dylan introduced me to Diego, Bitter pill's guitarist, and man, was he.. er gracious?
"I'm drunk. I apologize you had to meet me this way," Diego said shaking my hand. hahahahahahaha! ayus!
Hats off to Cynthia Alexander. She won guitarist of the year. Sana matapos na ang album ng Loquy coz I want Sancho to be nominated and to win. If only more people would get to listen to him play the guitar. Pakshet. Galing kaya.
Eto ka, mas maraming starlet ngayon. As in nagluluwaan ang boobs. kairita.
What can I say? It was an OK happening, and I'm saying that subjectively. I was expecting people to come along kasi but they had better things to do. Sayang this was supposed to be my 2nd and last NU Rock Awards. It would've been fun had ex-groupie and fran been around. Or had evigene or lorraine agreed to come along (although they might not have enjoyed being there). Oh well.
Tonight, Terno Augogo naman. Tangina I swear I'm gonna have fun, regardless kung sino ang dumating.
