2009 ~ Decent Ending Questions.
What was the highlight of 2009 for you?
This year was pretty tough. But my vacation in the Outer Banks was wonderful.
Did you lose any friends?:
I lost my stepfather.
What about gain any?:
I became closer to my best friends and gained a few more acquaintances through my brother.
What did you do for your birthday?:
Ooooh, man. I got sick with viral gastroenteritis, which wiped me out for about two weeks.
How old did you turn?:
27.
In your opinion, was this a good year for music?:
New Pearl Jam. Enough said.
Did you move at all?:
I did not.
How are you different now from the beginning of the year?:
I've begun to care about myself first. I'm making decisions that benefit only me and not everyone around me.
Did you get in any serious trouble?:
With work yes. I made a big mistake, got chastised for it for months, but in the end figured out that this field was no longer good enough for me.
Did you read any good books?:
.....I read the first two Twilight books. Oh, and Eat, Pray, Love.
What did you do in the summer?:
I worked alot , got chastised repeatedly at work, and agonized over my mom's issues. Then traveled to the OBX in September and had an amazing vacation away from everything.
Did you go to any concerts? If so, which ones?:
Death Cab for Cutie, Our Lady Peace, KISS, Dave Matthews Band and the Virgin Mobile Free Fest. Alot less than last year.
Has your looked changed? If so, how?:
I cut my hair off in July. It's since grown back and I dyed it before Christmas for the first time in about 5 years.
Did you date anyone?:
Still with J. Four years and counting. Although we both know it's ending.

Was 2009 a sad or happy year for you?:
It was a devastatingly tough year.
Would you have done things differently at all?:
I don't think so. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what I know about myself now.

Did you have a job or were you unemployed?:
Full time job at HLG, which I have since chosen to leave this year. Negotiating a leave date.
Did you dress up for Halloween? If so, as what?:
I dressed up like a gothic chick last minute and met my sister out at the bar.
If you celebrate Christmas, what did you get?:
The third Twilight book, Lady Gaga's "The Fame", pizza sheets and muffin tins, and my PAUL GAUSTAD JERSEY. :D
Did you search for eggs on Easter?:
I do not.
Did you see fireworks on the Fourth of July?:
I watched them with Michelle and Tony.
If you go, did you skip a lot of school?:
No school for me.
Is there a song that reminds you of 2009?:

Do you think this year went by super fast?:
Waaaay too fast.
Did you get your haircut this year?:
In July.
Do you remember how you brought in 2009? As in, celebrated?:
I'm sure I got drunk at home. Like usual.
How did you bring in 2010?:
Same as usual. Although I cried for some reason.
Did you kiss anyone when the ball dropped?:
I did not.
Are you looking forward to anything in 2010? If so, what?:
Moving home.
If you could describe this year in one word, what would it be?:
Devastating.

Just the dumb verbals ones.

Was there any big family drama for you?:
Don't get me started. I've wished much suffering upon my step family.
Are you glad 2009 is over?:
Very much so.
Overall, was 2009 a good year for you?:
No and yes. No because I lost my stepfather, my mom hit rock bottom twice, my family splintered and things just didn't seem to go right for any of my family members. We all went through very difficult situations. But yes, because in the end, we've all ended up back on our feet and because of what I've truly learned about myself. I'm looking forward to 2010.
