Birthdays and baseball.

My dad's birthday is today. He sounded good when I talked to him, which was the first time in a really long time. I really should make the effort to talk with him more often. I talk with my mom almost every other day, but then again, we can have a conversation that isn't awkward. My dad and I just don't connect. But he sounded happy and healthy...and informed me that Colleen is getting an engagement ring for Christmas. So I'm going to have a stepmother. I'm a little weirded out.

Max is going to be 3 on Friday. Where is the time going? God I miss him. And Mollipop too. 8 months old to the date and getting ready to start crawling. She's getting so big!

I am thoroughly enjoying the Yankees post season, even with the retarded officiating. So much that I forget about hockey. And the Sabres have started off pretty good so far.

As you may not see, all of this just masks the instability inside. I'm so conflicted about all the things I'm dealing with, but I'm hoping to begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel soon. I just have to keep moving forward.

molly, changes, sports, family, max
