1) Thanks for the congrats yesterday ♥ (and this is the cue for the rest to say it belated, if you want! I don't mind!) As birthdays go, it was good at day and and lousy at night. Oh well, I wasn't expecting anything special so it was cool in a general sense.

2) I still need opinions about my blog plan. Even "don't care"s help, actually ( Read more... )

You too, heh? Damn what happened. People used to LOVE answering silly polls.

Inorite? Maybe it was the lack of the "ticky" option? You can't put a silly option for a radio question in a poll, since it's only one answer, and then no one would go for the real questions.

I'd rather honesty like the in-between reply like yours, which I actually appreciate, than everyone just skipping the poll. Both of our polls were really similar in the fact that the decision will affect the whole structure of our journals, and that's amusing.

right ticky option. People are still not tired of that one >_>;

on further consideration, I think I might actually succeed more at really your entries on the Illiade if it was a blog. Or perhaps not. There's a bunch of blog I'm subscribed which I end up never reading because my attention span goes wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I'm the opposite: I concentrate better reading text in LJ, while the blogs I do follow are more on the audiovisual side. Probably the ?style=mine thing helps since I like uniformity.

I understand that, but.. the thing is, even if I go and do whatever I want -it's my journal I talk about what I feel like it blah blah-, I'm aware that when someone avalanches many posts about the same subject they alienate those who aren't interested. And then, they can't tell you this because it is my journal, and it's just easier to filter me out or defriend without getting to know me well. I'm in a moment with very low self confidence, so the last thing I want is to feel like a burden to others. Were this a fandom, I'd just act according to how many fellow fans are in my flist (FMA posts = not guilty = continue; Okami posts = very guilty = made another journal). But this is mythology, which is a weird topic full of WTF and the occasional squick, so IDK.
