Aaaaagh, just end already, week! Now I got my period, not faaaair.
1. I do wonder about the trend with American (and Japanese) anime companies streaming series online. Because, you know, I'd think it would be cool if only they wouldn't IP-block other countries. Then, unless it's a monstrously popular thing, you won't see underground/secret fansubs around. So anyone outside North America is pretty much screwed and left to wait for native fansubs which are lot slower.
2. Oh crap, the scan about the Namco Tales news wasn't fake?! D: D: D: I-I'm still getting the 360 ToV version, bitches. I've said it in several places already, but retconning a story to add a new character and new relationships just reeks of possible Gruyère-like plotholes. Just look at the current CLAMP mangas for an example.
3. In more relevant-to-my-interests novelties, yet another ToA manga spinoff called
Tales of the Abyss: Tsuioku no Jade, which I'll hopefully call "Can It Be Keterburg Teims Nao?". Huh. And the writer is one who wrote the game script. The strangest thing, however, is the fact that it's going to be published in Asuka. Does anyone scan the whole magazine, btw? Also, how long will it be, Gaiden-length one-shot or what? It's really odd, but Sunrise's homepage mentions Nebilim so obviously I want to see this like burning. (Is this a sample of the mangaka, however? It looks like an average fanart, bleh)
4. Speaking of manga spinoffs based on videogame, here's manga based on a videogame spinoff (pffft).
Gyakuten Kenji. More Edgeworth, yawn hurray. *waves the tiniest flag* I want to play this game, but this manga doesn't seem that interesting or fun. And a Gyakuten Saiban 4 official manga for when, CAPCOM? Sob, I'll settle with one chapter, even. (Gumshoe's faces are priceless, though!)
