More like this morning, but whatever. Oh, and by the way, does anyone knows why in hell EVERY English-speaking XXXHOLiC website but mine is a dead link at the moment? And the Wikipedia is dead, too. WTF Internet.
You know, I actually have seen a copy at the comic fair last year. So I can't really say I've never found it. But it's just that I thought I'd be buying more crap that year, so I thought "nnnng, I really want to read this, but I might need the twenty-something bucks for something else." Since it was at a stand of a comic book store, I thought it couldn't be so hard to get it. And if everything else fails, maybe there was a copy at the local library for me to leech for free.
Well, neither. Not even in big bookstores! The library had at least three Gaiman books and ten Pterry books, but no sign of GO. Then, suddenly, I really craved to read it for some reason. Not even in Spanish Internet stores or eBay I could see a copy.
I keep wondering if there was one copy of GO in this city, just sort of like Agnes Nutter's prophecies. I'll be damned.
I'll have to buy it in English and pay some good money for shipping and handling. Oh well, birthday is near, so I might get that one and the Howl books. I had to settle with the ebook version.
Anyway, this book was way too awesome! I loved it, but that was no surprise considering the authors. My favorite characters were Crowley and Aziraphale, of course, although I like the snake slightly more because he's just too cool -but the angel's book egoistic dorkiness is cute as well. And yes, dammit, I shiiiiiiiip them.
Not saying anything further because I don't want to spoil anyone. But it rocks. Best apocalypse plot ever.
