I'm saddened by the ban on same sex marriage and feel that someone should bring up the separation of church and state. Is marriage a church or state institution? IF you want it to be purely religious, it cannot be restricted by the government on any level nor can they ban same sex marriage if the religious institution supports it. Also, were it to

my husband always has the same rant! with the whole seperation of church and state because the government - mainly said president bush - always brings up the morality and what not of it, and brings religion into the argument. Which it really has no place.

Here in Jersey I think I heard last week that they passed teh bill and you can have gay marraiges here. One of our radio stations is trying to get a thousand gay couples to come and be married in a mass ceremony.! Im going with a friend of mine who is gettin married. :D
