Take excellent care of you. wbarbara November 2 2016, 17:39:55 UTC
Hey there, Rainjoy

I am one of your silent creeper trolls that hasn't ever commented, until now. I sincerely apologize for that, but my social anxiety convinced me that it was because I was reluctant to create another obligation for you to respond, instead of simply admitting it's hard for me to engage. Again, sorry. You deserve much more appreciation and encouragement.
I found you years ago through a Twitter rec of your "All The Other Ghosts" updates and immediately read that series and then through your entire repertoire... um, numerous times. I still often reread your stories, as an escape from the suckage that life inflicts on all of us. I read a lot, and I mean *a lot*, but you, love, are my favourite writer of all. We have several other things in common, but it's your wry humour, your optimism and your values permeating your stories, that connect deeply with me, in a way few writers do.
I have never seen Fullmetal Jacket or The Three Musketeers, but admit I am slightly obsessed with Glee's Klaine. But that didn't matter at all; your AUs are completely self-sustaining. I read the wiki entry for BBCs Musketeers and it doesn't seem that your Affinity series has more than a tenuous connection to the show, but I am far more invested in their future than anything on TV or in movies.
I purchased "Grey" and "All The Other Ghosts" volumes from the Box Scene Project, donated by you for a very worthy cause But I have to admit, my main incentive was getting the books - I'm sure you know the pleasure of holding a favourite volume against your eager thumping heart, anticipating the hours of happiness they will provide. I would gladly purchase *anything* you wrote and/or support your Patreon page, in hopes of making it easier for you to write with a dictation program. Hell, I'd gladly type your posts myself, from your dictation. But, from my own efforts, I know it takes more than nimble fingers and an available time slot to write. It takes the proper frame of mind, free of pain, stress and anxiety, which does not describe your life right now.
So for the foreseeable future, please take excellent care of yourself, and we will wait patiently (!) until you recover, and can write as much as you want again. I am so looking forward to reading that original novel that will achieve the recognition you deserve.
I wish you surrounded by love, good friends, and laughter, basking in good whiskey and music. As one shy person to another, I also apologize if my gushing made you squirm. Lol
Best regards, Bee <3
