Do you know how much fun this all is!? :D I feel like rolling around in all the cliche tropes of fandom to celebrate. Just rove around tvtropes and hit all the notes haha! I'm glad you like the picture! Admittedly I was a bit like "well what the hell why not?" when it came to costuming.

Unfortunately I couldn't work in some of the finer aspects of spandex for Kurt (the curve of his shoulder blades, of course, duh, I'm not talking about his ass.) But that's thanks to using a more 'traditional' superhero!cape. So I tried to incorporate the gray and how he is essentially a shade, fading into the mist and the background as he alway does.

Blaine on the other hand, so little to go off of haha! The thinking behind Blaine's costume was as a foil - dark to light, solid versus Kurt's lightness - coupled with Kurt's probable notion as to protect Blaine when he is unable - led to a more military look. And the Ghost could easily haunt a swat team and pick up a bulletproof vest for his new companion. Just in case. Just because he was able to shield himself from his bullies in school, doesn't mean he still can't take a surprise hit into the side of a police cruiser and wind up with a concussion.

Oh that spandex ;) I *love* it, of course, you have completely spoiled me with art recently =) I love Blaine's costume, it's a real pity he won't get to 'wear' it in the fic itself - outside of fanart and fanfic *in* the fic itself - I spent about two weeks banging my head off the desk trying to work out what a superhero with all those shields would be called, and, well . . .

I always feel guilty saying to fanartists draw me this! because I know I don't write anything just because someone else wanted to see it, so it seems unfair ^^; Whatever you wish to grace us with, I will be grateful =) There's a scene towards the end of part five I would love to see, but I think you'll be able to guess the one, so. Hee ^^

I've been meaning to say to you since you posted that how much I love your art! I went trawling back through your tumblr once you sent it on because I though it was so cute and I loved the style, and found that I'd seen a bunch of your art in other places and loved it there too!

Also, I totally agree, this is fantastic fun!
