So, for six months I have been working on an Assassin's Creed fic starring the most minor of minor characters. It's going to end up being novella/big bang length for a tiny fandom about the tiniest, oddest ship in existence. I have spent hours upon hours mapping out canon/timelines so that the story stays true to the Assassin's Creed games, Facebook game, and the additional Assasin's Creed videos, not to mention history itself. I have researched everything 16th century medicine, clothing, food, military practices, and a thousand other little things (like butterflies...don't ask). I have plotted. I have outlined. I have restricted myself to using only one POV to see if I could do this. Unfortunately for me the characters I fell in love with never speak in the game. All the information that comes from my main character is lifted from a total of two sentences. Oh, and the characters are bad guys. As in, they are evil and killed by Our Hero in game.
So, months in, I am finally done with my establishing of scenes, characters, and plot, and can finally move onto more interesting things (i.e., PORN). And now that I've finally worked so hard to get to the point where all I have to do is write these awesome scenes I've had in my head for so long?
Total. Fucking. Blank.
Ugh. I want to die.
So, dear flist, any suggestions as to how to get the creative juices flowing again? I feel like all my energy for this project has already been spent on the hard stuff and the easy part is now what's tripping me up.
