I am not allowed to watch RENT, like ever. I hear about four bars of ANY song from that production I am just a mess, crying and wiping at my eyes. Good GOD.

Are there any fellow RENT heads out there? Not just, OMG I LOVE THE MOVIE, but people who got to get into it in the earlier days? Has anyone seen it staged?

I saw Rent on Broadway a couple weeks after Jonathan Larson died, before the official opening. It was amazing, as you might imagine.

Oh my gosh, that must have been one of the most amazing things to experience. I'm jealous of you and glad that I got to view it with some distance at the same time. *hugs*

Im a rent head!! ive seen it three times on stage (twice in NY and once in SF) I love love love it!!!
