Move-in!

I spent this morning driving to Saint Louis and moving into my apartment. Fortunately, it had furniture (yay!) and it is wonderful. While it's old and a few things need fixing, it is huge: two bedrooms, a bathroom (with tub!), a dining room (huge), a kitchen, and a rather spacious family room. There is plenty of room for the futon in several spots in addition to a leather couch and club chair. My room is like a mansion in comparison to dorm rooms. Best of all, it's air conditioned (which is especially nice seeing as Saint Louis is ridiculously hot during the summer/early autumn).

Aside from a few issues, things went pretty smoothly. Somehow the keys were all mixed up, which was a pain in the ass. However, Quandrangle was lovely and very efficient about fixing the problem. We also need a new toilet because this one is leaking somewhere. But the lights all work and the refrigerator is in good condition, so I'm quite content.

I'm currently chilling in my parents' hotel room and enjoying the free wireless since my internet isn't hooked up yet. And while hotels are normally ten degrees too cold for me, the air conditioning is a god send considering it's 95 and humid as hell. Tonight we're going to dinner at this great Italian place on the Hill and then I'm going to begin the unpacking extravaganza.
