I keep forgetting I have this LJ. Dreadfully intelligent of me.
My mother got me this little toy for Easter--I actually had one just like it, but the dog tried to eat it, so I'll be taking much better care of this one. It's this funny little yellow toy chick that cheeps when it sits flat on your hand. It's cute, yes. But it does occur to me that the way it works is by having my hand complete its circuit, which means that the little fluffball is essentially giving me a very mild electrocution in order to make its cheeping sounds.
I'll have to work this into a murder mystery somehow. A noisemaking toy animal, rigged to kill. I like it.
In other news, I got into Pacific Lutheran University and Linfield College. I'm still waiting on the other two I applied for--one of whom sent me a letter a couple weeks ago saying I hadn't sent them something that I did, only to apologize to me profusely on the telephone when someone in the office unearthed the missing item from her desk. One wonders.
That's it for me. I'll see about, you know, writing in this thing more than once a year.
