So long, 2008. I don't think a lot of people will miss you, but I didn't hate you entirely.
No, you probably won't be missed, 2008, but without you, we'd never have the possibilities of 2009. A new president, graduation, ... who knows what else
- For the first time, I maxed out the tuition assistance I could get from my job. An accomplishment, which allowed me to -just barely- cover everything.
- The stock market crash turned some of my paranoia into opportunity, as the beleaguered housing market also the possibility of buying a home locally to us for the first time.
- I spent the whole year with my sweety, Putz. And spent some more time with cool kids like Donna.
- I spent hours working towards helping the first politician I believed in in a while to become president - and he won!
