My Predictions
I'm not sure with al, of these becasue i haven't seen all the nominated movies, but these are my predictions for who will win the Oscars which are tonight.
Best Actor - Jamie Foxx in Ray
Best Actress - Hilary Swank in Million Dollar Baby
Actor in a Supporting Role - Morgan Freemen in Million Dollar Baby
Actress in a Supporting Role - Natlie Portman in Close (I havent seen any of the movies in this category or heard anything about them so I'm really unsure)
Animated Feature Film - The Incredibles
Best Director - Martin Scorcesi, The Aviator
Best Documentary - Super Size Me
Original Screenplay - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Best Picture - The Aviator
It sucks that Jim Carrey didn't get nominated for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but there were so many good actors this year. I think Jamie Foxx deserves it the most and his only real competition is Leonardo Dicaprio, although Clint Eastwood should be pretty close. I would rather have Clint Eastwood win best director for Million dollar Baby, but I really don't think that'll happen. It reall sucks that he didn't win last year for Mystic River although Peter Jackson definitky deserved it and his win was basically for the whole LotR series not just the last one. But I think Million Dollar Baby will get those two wins for Best Actress and Supporting Actor. And Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind should definitly get best original screenplay. Charlie Kaufman is so out there.
