Character Meme - Elizabethe
When we are dreaming alone it is only a dream. When we are dreaming with others, it is the beginning of reality.
I. Elizabethe is an intelligent young maiden, very well brought up by her parents and assortment of nannies and tutors. She is well-mannered and quite the charming and witty lady, and enjoys socialising with the people she meets at parties hosted by her parents. Unsurprisingly, she is calm and level-headed, and her maturity despite her tender years of 11 shows in her conversational skills.
II. Her parents are the Archduke and Archduchess of *insert fancy name here*, and the neighbourhood where the story is set is under their jurisdiction. They enjoy showing their children off - well, if you had kids like Elizabethe and her elder brother you'll enjoy bragging about your kids, too - and frequently bring them on their visits to the royal palace.
III. Yes, you read that right. Elizabethe has an older brother.
IV. He is a mysterious figure shrouded in the dark mists of the undeveloped-character-syndrome.
V. Elizabethe befriended Feor when she saw Feor's, um, ability to survive heights. She doesn't know every detail about the non-human neighbours she has, but suspects that there is more to them than meets the eye. Her parents are blissfully unaware of anything strange.
VI. Her brother is in fact a Betweener, and guards the secret of the mythical folk in the neighbourhood.
VII. I'm kind of rambling about Elizabethe's brother... Anyway, they're very close siblings, much like the triplets.
VIII. Elizabethe dislikes being called Eliza or Liz / Lizzie, she thinks that shortened forms sound coarse and unsophisticated.
IX. She owns a Great Dane, specially brought over from Germany by her parents. His name is Kerberos and he's a Hellhound in disguise. His human owners don't know it, though, so shhhhhhhhh. He accompanies Elizabethe whenever she goes into the woods behind the estate.
X. Elizabethe is an early riser by nature, unlike her brother, and enjoys watching the sunrise.
