Happily reuniting with my baby D3S~~
Today was grey and drizzly, but nonetheless my Muse was unfazed (as usual) and demanded photos, much to the protest of Sleep (which was deprived) and Common Sense (which didn't want to edit photos). Muse was spurred by the return of the camera (Biscuit, Nikon D3S) from my dad's sightseeing trip to China. There was more light than yesterday, though, as you can tell from the improved quality of photos from yesterday's post.
I've read up on group posing techniques lately, in preparation for all the future Switchies that are coming along. Also everyone just got new outfits so it was a good opportunity to practice group posing and take photos of everyone at the same time.
This is a classic, triangular formation, with the tallest boys in the middle. 50mm on a full frame camera is annoying because I can't get close enough for a tight protrait photo, but my room is small and I can't get far away enough for a full body photo either. I must recall to change back to the 24-70mm next time.
I am quite proud of my balancing abilities, considering Mr. Williams at the apex is actually also the backbone who everyone leans on. >____>;;; Even Sophie (chuo_ri's Bory girl) is leaning slightly on Reiko, and Reiko on Kaitou, and Kaitou slightly against Kage because he's not wearing shoes due to my supreme laziness and my parquet flooring is slippery. Miu is the only one not leaning on another doll, since she had shoes on from the girls' meet last week.
Then my brain went haywire at the three boys in coats. If you remove Reiko from the SD gang... you end up with this:

Muahahaha. Kae looks like the annoyed leader of a couple of henchmen. He is not impressed by their goofing off, and a particular minion's insubordinate ways cough hitting on your leader is a very bad thing to do, Mr. Williams cough and lack of respect is a source of despair.
The boys do look very cool in their coats. I swear it was a MY LIFE IS COMPLETE sort of moment when they stood together. ;---; Rene's great weakness is coats, and the outfits Kaitou and Kae are wearing just arrived thanks to a friend (who is amazing!). The coats are black damask fabric whose patterns can only be seen if the light hits them right and omg my jaw dropped because I expected plain black but nooooo the fabric was a joy to molest and the gold braid was soooo pretty~~ (/rambles) The thing that really slayed me was the lapel pin detail, though. >_____>;;;
The camera has a very bad bias for straying to Mr. Williams preening his fluffy curls.
I did manage to force the naughty camera back on to Kaitou. (Can you tell I'm tired by this time, because the photo is rapidly dropping in quality...)
Reiko looks possessive here, but I think she just wants to steal the cravat. I'm keeping an eye on you, missy.
Okay, we have come to the (rather abrupt) end. I am suffering from serious fatigue and fanfic-withdrawal (as aptly descibed by bunnisteffi). I might need chocolate therapy.
