I think this started simply because I bought new dresses for Reiko, and she wanted to wear them and not the furisode kimono. Guess who was unlucky

Soleil, the one in blue, belongs to my wonderful friend; Lunaire belongs to me. I actually saw Hahwa's release two years ago, prodded my friend (who wanted a twin for her Milhwa then) and thought I could live vicariously through her getting one. That plan backfired, Hahwa is like my favourite sculpt ever, and since then I have been doomed.
Lol who doesn't know you love Hahwa's. HAHA. Yay Kimono/Yukata's! I could never bear to buy one, simply because I know I cannot bear to fit it on the boys XD
Ahahaha, the dSLR is away with my dad (I have my own, but I like to steal his to use) in China right now, so I haven't been able to work up a lot of motivation for photos. XD These photos were taken with my mirrorless micro 4/3 camera, which is like a more glorified point-and-shoot.
It's okay, I had to enlist my friend's help to tie the obijime (belt cord) and obiage (belt sash). XD Kimono are just more formal, made out of thicker cloth/silk and usually have more than one layer; while a yukata is lighter and cooler and usually only one single cotton layer, perfect for summer months!
Who needs tons of photos when you have three fabulous ones like these? Seriously, these boys are so emotive. I really can't decide if I like the first or the last shot more. Also, DREAMING EYES = WIN.
Awww, thank you! My favourite actually happens to be the second photo because I'm a sucker for backlighting like that... =w= Yeah, I never understand why people say dreaming eyes aren't as expressive as open eyes!
