Abso-friggin'-lutely fabuolous day. I'm not really sure why, I'm just uber happy right now.

I nearly ran into (and in the literal smashing kind of way, not the seeing them way) someone I find extremely attractive, which should have made me feel like a moron, but, eh, like I said, I'm in a strange mood right now.

We watched Sesame Street during Chem today, since Bouruchowitz (sp?) wasn't there. It was oddly fascinating.

We totally owned in our debate on "Is media violence harmful to children?" in psychology. Maybe it helped that the people we were against pretty much agreed with us that it's not harmful, and 90% of the rest of the class was on our side, but still, we owned...

I don't know how many of you have seen me present things in front of a class, but I... really don't like doing it. In the five minutes after psych. that I'm walking down the hall Kirsten asked me if I had just come from gym and Shayla said I was bright red. Which I was. (The debate was way better than the persuasive speech for English though, I was shaking after I finished that one)

I'm reading A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. It's very good, very disturbing, brutal, but very, very good. The characters are violently gray, and there is no absolute good or evil, everything is relative. There are passages that are so beautiful you (or I did at least) will sob over them. I'm kind of afraid to recommend it though, because, like I said before, it's brutal. (Martin's world is based on actual history in this regard a lot more than most fantasy) I mean, I'm about 200 pages in - out of about 800, I think - and there's already been statutory rape, incest, a child hacked up into little pieces and... ice zombies.
