First, I'd like to point out my icon. It's new, made by wicked_visions, and I love it bunches. I've got several of her icons and I love them all.
Now, then...
I have a quiet, child-free house until Friday. I plan to enjoy it as much as possible when not at work or out in the yard.
Older Son left yesterday to begin his summer program at the local junior college. It's a month-long program and he'll only by home on weekends. Older Son is my anti-social child (not that he's homicidal or anything just...not social) so this should be quite an experience for him. He'll be attending various classes during the day (emphasis on math and science, specifically Geometry and Biology) during the day. There'll be activities of some sort in the evening, small field trips every Thursday, and possibly a couple of weekend-long trips. He's been looking forward to this since *thinks back* September, when he first heard about this program.
Younger Son left today to go to church camp. He'll be back Saturday. With his brother gone most of the coming month, it should prove to be a loooong month for Younger Son as he's never learned to entertain himself. *sigh* It'll probably be a long month for me as well come to think of it.
For now, I'm going to laze about in front of the television for a few hours and enjoy not having to fight for control of the remote.
