So my weekend was alright. On Sat I worked at the zoo doing a keeper camp. That went pretty well, the kids were good and it didnt rain for most of the day so I was happy. I also got to see my tigers....sigh!:)
On Sunday I went to the Tacoma Art Museum with Martin. I had fun but I dont think that he did. He doesnt really like abstracts and there were a lot of those there. He kept saying it was stupid cause it didnt mean anything. AHHH. And I tried to help him look deeper, but it just didnt work very well. For example there was this picture of a naked man sitting in a chair with an abstract thing for a head. I tried getting him to contemplate what it could mean, but alas his response was: "its just a naked guy sitting in a chair, what could it mean???. I just sighed and walked away. Ah Martin. Then we drove around old town Tacoma and looked at all the pretty houses. After that we went to Point Defiance Park, it is a nice little park. I cant believe that I have worked there for over 1 1/2 years and still havent been there. Once there we walked over to a gazebo that overlooked the water and looked at the scenery. It was pretty. All these people had also carved there names into the wood, you know: L+P=love, and stuff like that. So Martin carved T+M, but it turned out looking like TIM, haha sweet nonetheless.
And today I slept in until 11:30 and went to my ASL class. Now I am sitting in the College Library avoiding doing my math homework. It is really hard and I dont understand it. Every time I look at it I get frustrated, who thought up triginomic functions anyway? The should be shot. Unfortunately I do have to go try and accomplish something, I just really dont want to. ARG!! Ok here i go, wish me luck!
