"As far as making up the work, I'll be asking people to look closely at works associated with De Stijl in order to understand how the principles of elementarization and integration described in the Bois reading for Friday, as well as set forth in the reading from Hegel (for Wednesday) might operate. I would suggest reading those articles closely and thinking about how such principles might be embodied in works of art by artists such as Mondrian and Theo van Doesburg."
