Iiiin no particular order:-
I. OMG, every character is, like a mirror-image of themselves. Tosh is functional! Owen isn't a bastard (totally)! Ianto has LINES! It's like they all followed the Yellow Brick Road over the break and found the Wizard of Oz - Owen got a heart, Ianto got a spine, and Tosh...got increased visibility?
(Gwen still annoys me, though.)
II. Caaaaaptain Spiiiiike! I kept on expecting him to make a reference to 'Happy Meals with legs' and/or Weetabix, though.
III. Ianto has all the best lines ever. Trufax. Also, he can has a Green Mile reenactment nao too. (Jesus, I hate that book so very, very badly). 'Some fetishes should be kept to yourself'; 'And I thought the end of the world couldn't get any worse'; 'Hello? Anyone there? No! Because THE PHONES ARE DOWN! :D'; 'So I suppose their heads just explode all the time, do they?'; 'They know more than me! That's impossible! Nobody knows more than me!'; 'Because I know everything. Also, it says so at the bottom of the screen.'
IIIb. If RTD actually ratfinks out of showing us Ianto and Jack on their date, I may be forced to throw a shoe at the telly. Because I want to see them eating sushi and going to see 27 Dresses. You do too. Don't lie.
IV. Little old lady at the beginning of Ep. 1 achieved epic win which may even have pwned Ianto. 'Bloody Torchwood!'
V. I actually thought that the premise of Ep. 2 was really interesting from an ethical viewpoint: how do you treat someone who is simultaneously innocent and very, very evil? That's not to say that the ep wasn't ridiculous, because it was. But still.
VI. Hee, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. *giggles like a three-year-old* So, Juliet: Gwen is Harry's girlfriend, Suzie is the crazy daughter who ends up murdered, Ianto is Harry, and Jack is Gay Perry, Y/Y?
VII. The little arm-linky thing that Ianto and Gwen do in the morgue made me intensely happy for some reason.
VIII. WORLD WAR ONE TRAVELLING IN TIME. Cath Tregenna, I see what you're going to do thar! And it makes me happy in my socks.
IX. Owen and the angry!omg! plant misting made me lol like a crazy person. Owen: the Constant Gardner.
X. This is just here so I had a round ten things to say. Also, Fitz/Sasha OTP. My Russian textbook has a guy called Sasha in it, and I keep on expecting him to run off to 1936 Barcelona, kidnap Fitz, and have gay adventures in Guernica.
