long time no type
yep, long time no type. no particular reason for the silence, just didn't hop on live journal.
well since I last typed this, Matt had his new female interest over to the apartment. which was cool at first because I like her and we get along. Her little boy Zach is cute too, very infectious laughter, easy to like. But... waking up in a big bed all alone, and then seeing my former guy spooning with his new girl on the couch made me want to either cry or bite something. I settled for crying.
And when they left I suggested we start dealing with life as it actually is and get a second bed so we have two separate bedrooms for the two separate lives that now pass time in this apartment. Matt kept the king and I got a full.
What I don't get is why HE doesn't understand why I only got a full sized bed. Um, hello, he's the only guy I've been remotely interested in for the past 5 years or more. There is no reason for me to pay to have more room than I need, epsecially since I will only look at the extra space and feel lonely. I guess he figures he's hopped right into bed with someone else and I'll do the same thing. Ha. I'm more likely to become a nun. Or to remain single for the rest of my life. Yeah, it's far more likely that I'll be single for the rest of my life than it is for me to sleep with someone else within the next two years of my life.
So I love my new bed.
I'm in the middle of making a sweater, my first thing ever involving intarsia, I think it's going pretty well... I've only had to rip and re-knit twice, so I've got 1/4 of one sleeve done in 10 hours. I'm stubborn, I never do gauge swatches or samplers to practice, so I end up knitting the same bit of fabric three or four times when I'm trying something new. 'course after I'm done you can't see any mistakes, so whatever.
