We've been spending way too many hours on N64 over here...and tonight we just brought out the PS1. Oh Boy!
Tonight Ben from the quad took us to Meridian Mall in his CAR! Oh, and what a pleasant experience it was!! Just being in the car made it fabulous. I'm sooo sick of those dang cata busses. I can't even begin to count the number of times I've almost fallen flat on my face. But back to the shopping experience. I bought some camera filters and some film. Tomorrow should be a great day for venturing out and taking shots of the colors!! I also bought some more video games and some undies *wink*...but I'm sure you really don't care about that! "George"(iana) had a field day at Victorias Secret and Grace and I couldn't stop singing DSX tunes in the mall! Twas a great day!
Back to Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon I was coming back from class and really needed to relieve myself in the restroom. It was one of those pees that just couldn't wait...so I booked into the restroom as soon as I got the chance. You know, I was in there doing my business, when suddenly I heard something go kerplunk in the toilet. Gahh, it was my IPOD. My IPOD was submerged in my own piss. I'm not even sure how it happened. All I knew was my baby was drowning and I needed to do something. Without hesitation, I reached into the bowl and rescued my poor IPOD...only to find out that it wouldn't turn on!! I was sooo upset. I got back to the room and I cussed and I cried and I even scared my roommate off to class!! I kept trying to get it to work all afternoon with no hope at all. I decided to google "ipod fell in the toilet" and I found out that it wasn't just my IPOD that decided to take a swim, but that hundreds of ipods everywhere has made ipods falling into toilets a serious problem. I told a few friends, went to dinner and by the time I came back...everyone on the floor knew! I'm dead serious! Most people were like, "I'm sorry about your loss" or "I heard about your ipod...how the hell did you do that?" And even though at that point I was laughing about the whole ordeal, I was still very upset that I had lost something that contained so much sentimental value. That thing had hit the pavement a few times but it couldn't even withstand a few seconds in the water! My ipod had accompanied me on long cata bus rides and bike rides to and from class. A few months ago I didn't even have an Ipod and now I couldn't picture myself without it! I went back to my room and decided to give the Ipod another shot...afterall...it had been drying out for a few hours. With the push of a button...the ipod turned on!! And the best part is...I haven't had any more problems since! In honor of this tragic event...I think I'm going to start calling my ipod...my "iturd"!!
