Man, Japan was pretty amazings! I am still a lazy bum and haven't posted any photos - I think coz there are just so many I can never be bothered to start such a big job!
It's been about a week and a half since I got back and boy have I been doing sweet fuck all. My days are generally sleeping in, reading teh interwebz, watching a couple of hours of anime (had so much to catch up on!) or slamming through two seasons of Castle (ilu nathan fillion).
Surprisingly it's only in the last few days that I've picked up the PS3 controller - mainly to play through the new DLC in Borderlands with my housemate, but I've also been tinkering around with BlazBlue.
GUESS WHO MY MAIN IS
BIG FUCKING SURPRISE RIGHT?
Watching my housemate play FF13 late at night is also making me want to play that, but I still need to finish Valkyria Chronicles... maybe even pick up Persona 4 again, or Assassin's Creed 2, etc etc etc
It's kind of cool being an unemployed bum at the moment (my contract with RMIT finished in March), but it's kinda depressing in a way how fast the days will go by without me actually accomplishing much. That, and I've been out HEAPS of nights, catching up with friends and whatnot, so my expenses haven't really slowed down at all.
I was about to bite the bullet today and call up Cabinet, the bar I used to manage, and get a few odd shifts to tide me over BUT I got a call back from RMIT today saying they could offer me two, maybe three, days of work a week starting next Tuesday! Might even have some web publishing work to do for another two days a week halfway through May, so that'd fill up my week, and not even with hard work. I'm thinking I'll see how it all goes for a while - maybe I'll pick up a better role once I'm back in the institution, or I can start looking for other things; tbh I don't really care that much.
Anyhoo, I promise I'll try and post a few Japan photos once I've got them all up on Facebook!
