To students in my class- Classes will be cancelled until further notice. I will update you on the situation when it has settled down.
...so, he left. I was expecting it, really.. I don't know why I ever thought otherwise. I wonder if he even meant a word of it? It certainly doesn't seem that way right now. He told me, though, that he felt he had yet to complete what it was he originally set out to do; that he would return to Derris-Kharlan. He said he wasn't sure when or if he'd return, this time. Now, as little as I know about the heart, that still seems unfair.. if not cruel.
And now it's made clear why I refused to get involved with anyone in the first place, outside of my duties to Genis, my research, and my teaching.
