Fringe:

A little while back there was a standard 'body-swap' prompt written on the kink-meme that I answered hastily if not with any real length  - whereupon a little elf crept inside, grabbed the nearest chair by the fire, charmed all the ferocious, ferocious golden retrievers and extended the story into a sexy tale to make the adults quiver with ( Read more... )

I just finished watching Season 1, and will be moving on to S2 tomorrow night. Marathoning it makes it a lot more immediate. I like Olivia a lot more now than I did at the beginning, and am very interested in what's going to happen next. Also, William Bell! Hee!

When I'm interested, yes. :) It was funny after seeing Clint Howard (Emmanuel Grayson in "The Road Not Taken"), who once played Balok in the original Star Trek's "Corbomite Maneuver", playing a Star Trek fanatic, to see who played William Bell. :D

Had you been spoiled for the series at all? I hadn't heard a thing about Fringe when I started watching it (one of the guys at work recommended it), but I guessed Peter's 'story-line' in the Inner Child episode, his comment about the scar being on the wrong side. Originally it was the Walter, Peter dynamic that had me hooked on Fringe, but Olivia will own you by the end of season 3.

Not spoiled in the least. The Peter&Walter show was what hooked me, yes. And they've been laying the hints pretty heavily that Peter is from the other side. Is Inner Child the episode where Walter told Peter or Olivia that he'd lost something precious? That cemented it for me. I don't remember a line about scars.

Olivia has grown on me a lot. Total immersion works. :D

Rachel and Emma (niece's name?) moved out kind of fast, even with the mention in that one episode about her apartment hunting.

Poor Agent Kasdan, subbing for Peter as babysitter/gofer/labrat. ;D

I think Inner Child was episode 14 or so? The ep with the baby observer, (the bald-headed empath kid who doesn't speak). Ella is the niece's name. And Agent Kasdan was adorable, although albeit, traumatised for life.
