Today I remembered why I don't want to work full-time. Chris has his wisdom teeth pulled today (he's been in serious pain for a couple of weeks now with them). I would have taken the day off to stay home with Katie and then help Chris when he was done but...my boss is out of town at a conference. As we are short-handed and the other graphics guy just went to part-time also there was no one to work the front desk if I wasn't there. So Katie and I went to work at 7:00 am. And work was crazybusy. I ended up staying until 5!! 10 hours - no food!!!! No lunch break. Since I wasn't planning on staying past my normal shift I had no food there and I was so busy I didn't even realize I hadn't taken a break until after 4.
I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. Time for a very early bedtime. Katie was so good all day, I was very impressed with her. She laid on the floor most of the day or was in her stroller. She seemed very interested in all the chaos going on around her.
She laughed at us a lot. :)
