Hm, what to post?
I've begun preparing your sampler from my novel.
It's not finished, and I know I can tweak it...and of course a novel is never finished. Even when published, an author is never satisfied with their work. Oh wells. :)
Maybe I can finish the preview before I go back home to Canada, which is...a lot sooner than you might think. The 6th of July, which is...in about two and a half weeks.
I need to get a job, you guys. ;_;
I sent out my resume to a place that was hiring plant propagators (I have experience, and a full year of education under my belt. That has to count for something...?), but they haven't gotten back to me.
In other news, Matty and I are going to Melbourne tomorrow, so you won't hear from me for about four days. Not that I post on here regularly since there's not much to say, but still. I comment. :)
Today Katie graduated from college. I'm so proud of her I can't even explain it. She's had a rough life, and this is one heck of a huge accomplishment for her. I'm sooooo proud. She's moving to Chicago soon to build her life with her fiance...meaning she'll be a lot further from me than ever, and I'm not sure I'll handle the first while of that too well, but Chi-town isn't THAT far....so I think we'll be okay. I only see her a few times a year anyway. XD
And we have the joys of Facebook...
