Happy Birthday to my dad
today is my dad's birthday. i bought him a boxed set of three Clint Eastwood movies-Unforgiven, Pale Rider and The Outlaw Josey Wales. he really liked it :) of course the downside to it being my dad's birthday is that i couldn't go out tonight >.< Dave called me asking if i was going to the commons tonight, but i couldnt go. Haven't been in 3 weeks, so i havent see Dave, Sev, or a bunch of other people in 3 weeks, which sucks. and i can't go tomorrow night either, because i have to babysit. so i don't know when the next time is that i'll get to just chill at the commons. grrr. i <3 the commons...well...sometimes
in other news, got to miss school today for a field trip to Boston, which was cool. we went to the New England Conservatory first and sat in on a recording session for one of their bands. there was this incredible clarinetist for the first piece. she was totally ridiculously amazing. we got lunch at the Prudential center, which consisted mainly of me and Craig wandering around with Kathryn Bombard and another girl because we "had to be in groups of 4" at all times, and Matas ditched us for Gabe, Hunter and Chip. Then we went to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra, which was cool. During the first piece i almost fell asleep and wanted to shoot myself it was so boring, but the second half was amazing. it was definitely worth it. and last, we went to Fanuiel (probably spelled that wrong) Hall Marketplace for 2 1/2 hours of free time for shopping/dinner. I hung out with Craig and we decided to screw the 4 person rule and just wander by ourselves. we wound up eating at McDonald's, mainly because neither one of us really wanted to spend a lot of money on dinner. Then we walked around for 2 hours in random shops, talking and stuff. it was cool. i think thats the only time i've ever really hung out with just Craig, plus we had a good conversation going most of the time.
oh yeah and odd event of the day-on the way to Boston, I was sitting with Matas and he was using me as a pillow...and then he tried to kiss me o_O he blamed it on his being tired or something lol. it was kind of funny.
and now i am going to FINALLY go and watch Rocky Horror Picture Show. yay
