I'm still alive.
It's D-week at work, before our Audit. I've been working 10-12 hour shifts 6 days a week, and since I work in an office and lab now, it's mentally draining, instead of physically, like it is back in Containment. So I get home and just want to watch stupid cartoons and shut my brain off.
My car was at the car doctor for three days; One of the valves on the emissions canister needed replacing, which turned my Check Engine light on- Because my Check Engine light was on, my Cruise Control shut itself off- Because my Cruise Control was off, the Needs Repair light went on- AND my brakes were grinding something fierce. Thankfully my baby is still under warranty, and it only cost me $99 deductible, +$40 Brake inspection. They wanted $300 to replace my brakepads and rotors, but Thad said HELL NO, bought brakepads and rotors himself for $60, and he and his dad replaced them themselves. So there.
And yesterday I bought a Loki dress at Hot Topic. <3
