In about five hours, Thad's mom will come pick us up and take us to the airport. This time tomorrow (in England, five time-zones ahead of us), I'll be in London meeting up with
herecirm!
We're mostly ready. I still have a few last-minute things to do; pay my bills, pack up my electronics that have been charging all night, and put away our mess from the Renaissance Festival.
Speaking of Renaissance Festival, we got caught in a massive storm around 5PM. The site flooded from the downpour. Thad and I, in our attempt to get back to the car, waded through rushing muddy water well past our ankles. We were soaked and had to shed our clothes down to our boxers before getting in. Thankfully I had a blanket from the Mötley Crüe concert that we spread out onto both seats to sit on and not get my car too wet... The drive home was rainy, until we got to the city before Dearborn (Redford?), where it began to pour so hard that I could not see where I was driving, and the roads began to flood.
We still had fun, though.
And I was wearing my black, knee-high moccasins, which had never been washed... And thanks to the rain, my feet are now stained black. *shakes head*
Everyone be good while I'm gone!
