The editor in me.

UGH.

You know, I had a nice rhythm going in November for NaNoWriMo.

I'm typically not a morning person, but found that if I got up at 8AM and surfed the web until 9AM, that I could write like the wind until noon, when it was time for me to make lunch and get ready for work.

And now that it's time for editing, I can't seem to wake up at 8AM, anymore.

I hate editing, anyway. I hate, hate, HATE editing my own work.

I would rather be doing anything else. Like cleaning. And I hate cleaning.

Speaking of cleaning, I cleaned the livingroom this morning, because a co-worker is coming over tomorrow, and I am to teach her beginning bellydance moves. I am going to start taking classes, again, and I managed to talk her in to coming with me. Classes are currently mid-session, so I was going to show her the basics, and when the next session began, we'd head out there. My livingroom is the only space big enough to dance in. But it turns out that her car broke down, so she has no way of getting to my house. Bellydancing is pushed back to next week.

My diet is going well... Saturdays are my splurge days. I had a burger for lunch, and a single slice of veggie pizza for supper. Other than that, it was healthy snacks, and still no eating after 9PM, even though I am currently STARVING (darn my stomach and wanting to eat at midnight, after getting off work!).

Now I am going to go to bed. The faster I fall asleep, the faster I can forget about being hungry. And then I can attempt to get up nice and early, do the laundry, and... EDIT.

Raine

stuff, procrastination, i'm a gypsy, editing, co-workers
