Here has been my weeks, in a spiralling nutshell. Complete with pictures! :D
I went to see Steve (formerly of Rockestra)'s new band Jane Doe, on a Friday the 27th of January, at Silky's in Dearborn. No pictures because I was too far away.
Thursday the 2nd, we went out to Mongolian BBQ for lunch, because I had a free stir-fry coupon for my birthday. Afterwards, Thad took me to the Fairlane mall in Dearborn, and we just walked around, window shopping. We bumped into Steve (from Jane Doe) and his girlfriend, and we talked for a bit. I then went to Sports Avenue Grille in Wayne for a friend's end-of-birthday week, with a band called Two O'clock High.
Valente'.
Ricki. I am in love with his dreads. He let me touch them. <3 <3 <3
Friday the 3rd, I dressed all pretty, and Thad and I went to Keefer's Blue Line Grille in Allen Park, to see Steve and his new band Jane Doe. They played "Bobby McGee" for me, for my birthday.
Jim (I think). The bass player. (The silhouette pic is my favorite!)
Rob (I think). The keyboardist.
Danny (I think). The guitarist. He reminds me of one of the members from those symphonic metal band members I see a lot of pictures of. Haha!
Steve. Yay! :D
Liz. She can sing a mean rock version of "Bobby McGee" by Janis Joplin. First time I ever heard the song, I fell in love with it.
Saturday the 4th, I went to see Shakedown. Bruce is a baker, and made me a apple crumble pie with whipped cream inside. OMFG, it was DELICIOUS! They (and the girls) signed a card for me, and even let me sing a song. :)
Guitarist!Steve.
Bruce.
Bassist!Steve.
This pic of Sam and Bruce makes me more happy than words can say. You have no idea. <3 <3 <3 <3
Tuesday the 7th, for my actual birthday, I went out to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen with Risa, bought my new mouse Maxwell a new cage, bought my The Darkness II videogame, and then went out to supper with Thad at Benihana, with my $30 off birthday coupon.
Yesterday the 10th, I went to see the movie "Chronicle" with Thad, then drove out to Chatters in Westland to see Shakedown. Half-way there, a blizzard appeared out of nowhere, and all the cars were playing Follow-The-Leader at 25 mph. Ugh. When I left at 2AM, the blizzard had stopped, but the roads were still bad, to the point that me driving anything over 25 mph would result in my car slipping and sliding. Longest. Ride. Home. EVER.
Which brings us up to speed, and to today, where I have a lack-of-sleep headache that just won't go away. Also, my mouse is crazy: he's chewing up the toilet paper roll, running up his tube stairway, depositing the piece of chewed up roll, running back down the tube, and starting over. Crazy.
... LOL. He just ran up the tube backwards. I love my Maxwell. He is hilarious entertainment. XD
