Merry Christmas?
Or is it? This will be (pretty much) the first Christmas my siblings and I will spend with dad, at dad's house. (except for that one time when he had a house and we spent Christmas there, I think I was in high school). And no one seems to know or care what happens. There's nothing in the kitchen for a holiday dinner, the tree was only decorated 2 days ago (after much scrambling), and no presents underneath it (my siblings and I have a few to put under it later). My siblings are currently at the mall, my sister has work later, I have to go to the Christmas Eve service at church later. My dad is sitting in his room probably watching tv, and my aunt is running errands. I don't care what my mom is up to but (apparently) my siblings are going to her place tomorrow? Not me.
I had a wonderful 2 days and nights this week with Ashi, who came to visit now that she finally has a vacation from her internship. I only wish it lasted longer. We saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie, made REAL peach cookies in honor of Eternal Sonata, decorated a gingerbread house, played some Portal 2 co-op (LOL), and she introduced me to Hyperdimension Neptunia. Oh boy. Well, I had a great time, and I'm glad she did too, but all good things come to an end eventually.
Right now, I am just really lonely. BTW, now that I'm 25, in Japan I am now considered a "Christmas cake." Sadface. So what do I do when I'm lonely? Let's make a list.
-take a shower and COVER myself in things that smell like roses (shower gel and lotion, duh)
-listen to random depressing anime/game music on my laptop
-type this journal entry
-stare at lolita stuff I can't afford
-play some video game I have lying around (probably The Idolmaster 2)
-...watch some anime (probably The Idolmaster or Chobits)
-God forbid, start reading fanfiction
