wow. I havent updated my interests in a long time. But I'll do this anyway.
1337- leetspeak. computer hax0rz code of language.
anime- it's japanese animation. i loves it.
belle and sebastian- perhaps the first "indie" band I ever started listening to
big band jazz- i love music from that era. good stuff. good talent.
cibo matto- a pop/rap/etc type group, consisting of Japanese women and their caucasian back up band. Heavy on the Japanese accent
dance dance revolution- i used to DDR like a fiend. then i got lazy. i used to play every day and go to arcades every weekend.
dead or alive- TECMO fighting game with big-breasted girls fighting it out. 'nuff said.
digital devil saga- a Shin Megami Tensei spinoff series. Never got around to finishing it but it's a good RPG
gladiator- i used to love this movie for the action in it. and i liked the opening fight against the Germanic tribe.
god- i believe in a higher being.
l337- see 1337
manga- like anime, i'm quite obsessed with it, but not as much as I used to.
megatokyo- i used to read this webcomic religiously, but i no longer do.
metal gear solid- perhaps THE best action game series I've ever played
neuromancer- a novel by William Gibson. it's cyberpunk, and i really liked it.
neutral milk hotel- a good "indie" band that i started listening to after William Vaughan brought in "Holland 1945" to Ethics class for a project
pc- i like PCs. i'm not really pro-mac.
persona 1,2,3- my favorite video game series of ALL TIME, also a shin megami tensei spinoff. I liked it because you were just a normal person, not some super warrior. But you have the power of Persona. This is the power to summon your inner self, whether it be a god, goddess, demon, angel, etc. It's a dark game, but so very good.
photography- i love taking photos and at one point i wanted to be a professional photographer
ps2- i loves my ps2. it's the system i truly matured with, and the system i have the most games for.
pure pwnage- a online show about hardcore gamers. haha. it's hilarious. i love Jeremy because he's got uber micro.
rain- ever since i was small, rain's always had a mystique to it. it makes me sentimental, but in a good way.
rpgs- i love to play video game rpgs. i don't have the time or patience for most nowadays (with a few notable exceptions), but i love to play them nonetheless
shin megami tensei- the originator of the persona games and digital devil saga. i've only played the third installment of this wonderful series, Nocturne. it was hard, but an extremely good time. you had to convince demons to join your party by talking to them. then you could fuse them and such. it's kind of like pokemon, but a helluva lot darker and more violent.
silent hill- these games scare the bejeezus outta me, but i love how they can do that. i have major respect for Konami for making these games, and I love Akira Yamaoka who brings his awesome music to these games' soundtracks
smt: nocturne- see shin megami tensei
snow patrol- i used to like these guys back before they were popular. i still kinda do, but not so much
suikoden- my second favorite video game series of all time! basically it's based on the Water Margin tale where the hero meets 108 "stars of destiny", basically people who will accompany him and follow him. i love how the characters interact and i love the storyline of each one. each game is set in a time of war, and shows just how deep wars can go... from politics to external interests to religion, etc. it's so multi-dimensional and real.
tales of symphonia- i used to be obsessed with this game, but now i realize it isn't so good....
techno- i used to listen to a lot of techno music back when i played DDR a lot.
thousand arms- one of the most fun RPGs i've played. why? because it combines RPG with dating sim. haha.
wild arms- i'm a fan of this series too. it's like futuristic wild west, and that's what i like so much about it.
xenosaga- i like the characters in this game. unfortunately i've only played through the first one.
