the doldrums of summer
I'm tired. I have to do the laundry later. I woke up around 8 and I haven't had breakfast yet. I want waffles. But I don't have any money on me and my house key got bent out of shape so I can't get back into the house if I went out.
I've been regretting my choice to ever start smoking. I quit a while back, and it's been several months since I've had a cigarette. However, every once in a while I'm hit by terrible craving. Truly, never knows best. I'm sure it'll go away with time. Whenever it hits me, I'm usually at home anyway. So I just boot up Zombie Master on Steam and shoot up the living dead. It's the best Half Life 2 mod I've played in a while.
Summer's here. The lazy days of not doing anything productive are here too. I really need to find something to occupy myself other than video games, sleeping, and TV. I want to work at a library. That would be wonderful. Surrounded by books and arcane knowledge of hundreds, if not thousands of years. Also, it would be quiet work.
I have a headache. And my tea is cold and bitter.
