well, we went to the body shop to get all the crap out of the car.
as it was finally daylight, we could actually see the damage.
it was totaled.
completely.
even two people who worked at the body shop said there was no way it could be repaired.
and once the insurance company sent out their assessor, it was settled.
no more car.
and our reimbursement?
a whopping estimate of $2700
how in the hell can we replace a perfectly running car (had just had the 90000 mile repair done, too)
with $2700???
*sigh*
