!!!!!!!!

HIGH PITCH SQUEALING AND FLAILING AND OTHER EMBARRASSING THINGS.

I could not stop GRINNING LIKE A FOOL throughout this whole episode because it's DOUG ROSS AND CAROL HATHAWAY TOGETHER IN THE SAME ROOM. I was worried they wouldn't give us any couple-y moments, AND THEN THE LAST SCENE HAPPENED. IN BED AND SPOONING AND DOUG ROSS WITH HIS SHIRT OFF AND MATCHING WEDDING RINGS WHILE THEIR SONG WAS PLAYING. I think I would have died if they actually showed the twins, so I thank the producers for not putting me into a COMA OF BLISS.

Doug Ross's low, soothing voice still melts me into a puddle of goo. I know it's mostly Clooney, but there's something a little extra when he's in the Doug Ross character.

To my surprise, I also let out a little (or high pitch) squeal when the Carter & Benton reunion happened. OH MAN. I love that their mentor/student relationship has developed into THIS. Benton staying by his bedside pre and post-op! Making sure the checklist was done in the OR! Ragging on him for marrying "a sistah!" Rubbing coffee and a peanut butter energy bar in his face! Telling him to stop being a baby! He called him JOHN!!! I have such a soft spot for them (which I'm sure I made obvious in my last post). They also mentioned Reese, who I can't believe is thirteen already. Unfortunately, they also mentioned Cleo, who was possibly the dullest character in the history of ER.

I can't wait for the Carter/Kem reunion because I want Carter to get a happy ending. The man has survived a stabbing, a drug addiction and a kidney transplant (plus other life threatening moments that I'm sure I've forgotten) - I think he deserves one.

In conclusion: DOUG/CAROL FOREVER AND EVER.
