I totally called the "Smash doing drugs to get buff" storyline once the recruiter mentioned Smash was tiny for a football player. (Side note: this show is like my sociology of sport class coming to life and I absolutely love it. I want to spout out all this information about the glorification of athletes, how our culture basically encourages drug use, athletes and violence, sport no longer being played for sport's sake but used to gain fame and money, but I'm going to restrain myself. I'm such a geek.)
I let out an embarrassing SQUEE when Matt asked Julie out, and then stammered in awkwardness when she didn't reply right away (and we still don't have an answer!) God, they're adorable.
I don't have much to say about this show. It's so gorgeous and realistic and I love watching the storylines unravel without analyzing it. *hugs new, shiny show tightly*
Um, IN TWO WEEKS, NBC?! Jason finds out about Tim/Lyla and is ready to beat the crap out of Riggins (or so he wishes), and you're going to make me wait two weeks?! Plus, I need more Matt/Julie cuteness.
Judging from the flist reaction, VM was excellent tonight. Whee.
rainblows is terrible because she mentioned how hot it would be if George Clooney and Kate Walsh filmed a movie together. Or just a scene. Either way, I'm not too picky and would absolutely COMBUST if such a thing ever occurred. And now I can't stop thinking about the scorching hotness of it.
